Speakers

Prof. Dr. Leen Paape RA is Professor Corporate Governance at Nyenrode Business University.
He is Academic Director of the Board & Governance programs and Chairman of the Nyenrode Corporate Governance Institute. Leen has been the Dean of the University and member of the Executive Board of Nyenrode for about 10 years.

Eelco van der Enden CEO at Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), is responsible for overseeing GRI’s strategic work program and organizational management. He joined GRI as CEO in January 2022 from multinational professional services network PwC, where he was Global ESG Platform Leader for Tax, Legal, People & Organisation Services.

During his masterclass, Jelle Mattias Holwerda RA provides guidance on the standards that apply to the audit of sustainability reports, and what those standards mean for organizations. Intire, in collaboration with Jelle Mattias Holwerda RA, will be providing the Executive Education program ‘ESG Assurance Ready’.

On 1 February 2023 Chiara Del Prete has been appointed EFRAG Sustainability Reporting TEG (EFRAG SR TEG) Chair. Her role is to lead and manage all EFRAG’s sustainability reporting technical activities. Chiara answered our questions regarding reporting on the basis of the double materiality principle.

Martijn Bos serves as Policy Advisor Reporting & Audit at Eumedion since 2012. Eumedion is a platform for corporate governance and sustainability that represents the interests of 51 institutional investors. Eumedion’s participants together manage 8 trillion Euro. Martijn shared his investor perspective on the future of corporate reporting and discuss a global standard setter for non-financial reporting.

Pillar 2 is the main focus of the session of Jori Staal, Tax Automation & Reporting Specialist at Taxvibes. He shared his insights into this new global minimum tax standard.

Wietse Mol, co-founder and senior advisor at Intire will guide you through the growing Sustainability/ESG software landscape and share his main considerations when selecting a platform to collect, calculate, analyze and report your sustainability information.

The session of Gergana Videva, Tax Automation Specialist at Taxvibes, covers the current ESG requirements in Tax and the challenges that companies face when implementing those new tax transparency frameworks.
