Event: Non-Financial Reporting for Financials

Learn from experienced financial Sandra Keessen, who has been sustainability programme manager at ANWB for 2 years

As a financial you are currently confronted with many new non-financial requirements. Reporting on sustainability or ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) subjects is or can become part of your responsibilities. With these increasing demands, new challenges arrive, and we believe that the financial department is uniquely positioned to face these challenges head on.

An ever increasing number of companies face mandatory disclosures on their ESG-performance through European Union regulation, such as the EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence directive. Additionally, investors, customers and suppliers are becoming more demanding of transparency in ESG-performance. Sustainability reporting is therefore crucial to increase the trustworthiness and believability of your organisation.

How to find your way in the sustainability landscape?

On Tuesday 1 November we are organising, especially for senior financials, the knowledge-sharing and in-person event “Non Financial Reporting for Financials” at the most sustainable location of Central Netherlands: KAS. In one afternoon we will bring you up to speed on the most important information for financials in the field of sustainability/ESG reporting and management. This will be accompanied by multiple real life examples. There is also plenty of room to network with others and discuss relevant topics.

Speakers that have been confirmed so far:

  • Sandra Keessen. Programme Manager Sustainability ANWB. Sandra is an accomplished financial who has held, among others, functions such as Manager Business Control and Finance Manager at KPN and ANWB.
