In a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) you not only assess the impact that your company has on people, society and nature. You also assess the financial impact of the risks and opportunities associated with external developments in the area if ESG.
Topics where either your company has a significant impact and/or topics where your company faces a significant financial risk or opportunities are considered material. These topics will feed your strategy. And stakeholders wish to understand how you are managing these impacts, risks and opportunities.
